Afterlife question

Postby fairylight » Fri Dec 04, 2009 7:54 am

I read in RB's blog that people who experienced traumatic events in their physical lives of which they can't let go always continue experiencing these traumatic events in the afterlife until they let go and move on. Before they let go their afterlife is simply experiencing these events over and over again. Do you agree it's always the case with deeply traumatizing events? If yes and one always moves on in their afterlife how can one explain the fact that the same tramatic events can be experienced in several physical lives one after another. Why would this happen if a person has already let go of it in life between lives? Can this re-experiencing in the afterlife be somehow prevented, let's say if a person hasn't let go but is consciously choosing a different way of healing from the repeated experience?

I don't agree that this is always the case, actually.

I myself have some things in past lives that when I face them now is hard for me to deal with. This suggests I didn't totally let go of them. I can vouch, however, that this is usually going to be the case for most individuals.

But is there any way to avoid the repeated suffering in the afterlife, even if you're still stongly affected by the trauma?

Yes.......but it's generally not suggested for normal people.

I can't speak on afterlife stuff, but I definitely think there are ways that can lessen the hold some experience has on you in this life, making it easier to let go. Energy work in particular can stirs up things when energies are moved about, and things are cleared out. I know someone who was able to let go of a traumatic event in his life through use of yoga for example. Part of it I also think might be getting into dealing and working with ones own karma.

Why is it offered as an exception? In what cases it's offered to people? Can a person choose this way him/herself rather than be offered it?

Yes.....granted the person knows what all of the alternatives actually are and how to do them.

The topic of trauma after life can become quite complicated once you get to the "other ways to deal with or get past it besided the usual way" part, and as such has always had a fascination for me.

There is a level of free will in death that most people don't recognize they have. I would simply suggest trying to get through the pain and the past the usual way, so that you won't have to worry about it later (for most people, at least) but dealing with it in chunks or simply forgetting the life in question if it's too horrid is an option, although a sad one.

Usually the conscious part, and usually in a personal plane.
